Health & Safety Standards (SHE) Training Manager – Maidenhead (Hybrid, 2 Days in Office)
£50,000 - £55,000 depending on experience

If you're an experienced training, learning and development, or competence professional looking to broaden your impact, this is an exciting opportunity to transition into a strategic Health, Safety & Environment role while leveraging the skills you've already built.
At Heidelberg Materials UK, you'll play a key role in shaping how over 3,600 employees develop the knowledge, competence and behaviours needed to work safely and effectively. Rather than delivering training yourself, you'll influence and lead the systems, standards and frameworks that underpin learning across the business.
This is the perfect next step for someone with a background in training governance, learning systems, competence management or workforce development who wants to move into a high-profile role within Safety, Health & Environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Defining and governing the national SHE training and competence framework.
- Ensuring training standards remain aligned with legislation, industry requirements and business needs.
- Driving continuous improvement in learning, competence and safety behaviours.
- Leading the performance and quality of external training providers.
- Overseeing digital learning platforms and training governance processes.
- Influencing senior stakeholders to build a competent, compliant and future-ready workforce.
