We are Hestia. We make a difference.

At Hestia, we are guided by our core values and are dedicated to fostering an equitable, diverse, and inclusive organisation. Our mission is to empower individuals to rebuild their lives and achieve independence. Right now, we are looking for a Training Manager to play a pivotal role in our Modern Slavery Innovations Team in London.

Sounds great, what will I be doing?

As Training Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of CPD-accredited modern slavery training programmes for corporate partners, frontline professionals, businesses and public sector organisations. Working closely with the Modern Slavery Innovations Manager, Corporate Partnerships team, and a Lived Experience Co-Facilitator, you will create impactful, survivor-informed training, guidance and resources that influence policy, strengthen organisational responses and generate sustainable income.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident trainer and relationship-builder to expand Hestia's training offer, develop new business opportunities, manage key stakeholder relationships and ensure survivor voices remain at the heart of everything we do. The role is part-time, three days per week hybrid working with travel across London and the UK.

What do I need to bring with me?

You'll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills this role requires as well as match our values and mission. You don't have to tick all the boxes right away; the important thing is that you're willing to learn. We also value lived experience of the areas we support, so if you feel comfortable, please do mention this on your application.

We are looking for an experienced and engaging training professional who is passionate about tackling modern slavery and creating meaningful change. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of designing and delivering high-quality training programmes, both in person and remotely, to diverse and large audiences, with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels. You will be skilled at translating complex research, policy and legislation into clear, practical guidance and recommendations, with a strong understanding of modern slavery legislation, including the National Referral Mechanism, Home Office frameworks, and wider compliance requirements. We are seeking someone with excellent project, customer and stakeholder management experience, including managing corporate partnerships, delivering contractual commitments, and meeting challenging timelines. Strong organisational, administrative and budgeting skills are essential. A qualification in Training Delivery and sales or business development experience would be highly advantageous. Most importantly, you will be a collaborative relationship-builder with exceptional communication skills, a high standard of written and spoken English, and a willingness to travel across the UK to deliver impactful training that helps organisations identify, prevent and respond to modern slavery.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
