The Role
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Training Manager to lead the planning, delivery and continuous improvement of CACI International’s professional training function.
The role will ensure that CACI customers and therapists receive a consistently high standard of technical & practical training. You will oversee the training calendar, manage course delivery, support the development of training materials and ensure that delegates are competent and confident using CACI systems and delivering approved treatment protocols.
The successful candidate will combine strong leadership and organisational skills with credible experience in beauty therapy, aesthetics, skincare, professional education or a related technical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Training Leadership
- Manage CACI International’s annual professional training strategy.
- Own the training calendar, course structure, capacity planning and delegate experience.
- Lead and support the CACI training team, ensuring consistent delivery standards across all courses.
- Allocate trainers, resources, equipment and practical models appropriately.
- Set clear objectives, standards and performance expectations for trainers.
- Conduct regular trainer observations, coaching sessions and performance reviews.
- Maintain a high level of technical and practical expertise across the training team.
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex training, technical or delegate matters.
- Partner with the Senior Management Team to implement, establish and maintain CACI’s VTCT and CPD accreditation programmes.
Course Development and Delivery
- Oversee the delivery of CACI system, advanced, refresher and specialist training programmes.
- Ensure training remains aligned with approved treatment protocols, equipment functionality, product information and customer requirements.
- Deliver or support practical and theoretical training where appropriate.
- Ensure delegates receive an engaging balance of theory, demonstration, supervised practice and assessment.
- Maintain course content, lesson plans, presentations, workbooks, assessment materials and training videos.
- Identify opportunities to introduce additional learning formats, including digital resources, webinars and e-learning.
- Develop refresher and remedial training solutions for therapists requiring additional support.
- Support the delivery of training at CACI’s head office, customer locations, exhibitions and other approved venues.
- Ensure all delegates receive appropriate joining instructions, course materials, certification and post-course support.
- Work with the Sales Team and Customer Success Manager to support new customer onboarding and account development

Quality, Compliance and Governance
- Maintain robust training records for delegates, courses, assessments and certifications.
- Ensure only appropriately trained and authorised individuals are certified to deliver relevant CACI treatments.
- Maintain version control of training materials and ensure obsolete content is removed from use.
- Ensure training content is consistent with approved product claims, treatment protocols and company communications.
- Work with Quality and Regulatory colleagues to ensure training activities support the company’s quality management system.
- Support the investigation and resolution of training-related complaints, incidents, adverse feedback or competency concerns.
- Maintain clear processes for course approval, trainer approval, assessment and certification.
- Participate in internal audits and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions where required.
- Ensure training equipment is safe, suitable, maintained and available for practical sessions.
- Identify and report risks relating to training delivery, equipment use, treatment technique or delegate competency.
Customer and Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships with clinic owners, salon managers, therapists, commercial partners and internal stakeholders.
- Understand customer training needs and recommend appropriate learning pathways.
- Support customers progressing towards advanced training or Advanced Clinic status.
- Gather and analyse delegate and customer feedback to improve the training experience.
- Work closely with Sales, Customer Success, Technical Support, Marketing, Operations and Quality.
- Represent CACI International professionally at customer meetings, events and industry exhibitions.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, professionalism and customer care.
Product Testing and Treatment Protocol Development
- Conduct the practical testing and evaluation of new CACI products, devices, attachments and treatment technologies prior to commercial launch.
- Work closely with NPD, Quality & Regulatory teams throughout product development and testing.
- Conduct and coordinate hands-on treatment testing to assess product performance, usability, treatment outcomes and therapist experience.
- Provide practical feedback to NPD teams to support product refinement, functionality and ease of use.
- Support the development, testing and validation of new treatment protocols, treatment sequences and recommended parameters.
- Ensure treatment protocols are practical, repeatable and appropriate for the intended customer and therapist audience.
- Test treatment protocols with appropriately trained therapists and practical models to ensure clarity, consistency and suitability for real-world use.
- Work with Quality and Regulatory colleagues to ensure treatment protocols are aligned with approved product claims, intended use, safety requirements and regulatory expectations.
- Maintain appropriate records of product testing, treatment trials, feedback, amendments and protocol approvals.
- Identify potential risks, contraindications, usability issues or training requirements arising during product and treatment testing.
- Contribute to the development of New Product Development (NPD) concepts by researching and evaluating relevant technologies, market trends and innovative product opportunities.

Person Specification
Essential Experience and Skills
- Proven experience managing professional training, education, learning and development or technical instruction.
- Experience leading, coaching or supervising a team of trainers or educators.
- Strong background in beauty therapy, aesthetics, skincare, medical aesthetics, wellness or a related professional field.
- Demonstrable experience delivering practical, hands-on training.
- Excellent presentation, facilitation and communication skills.
- Ability to assess competence and provide constructive, clear feedback.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple courses, trainers and customer requirements.
- Experience developing or maintaining training materials and structured lesson plans.
- Strong attention to detail when managing records, assessments and certification.
- Confident working with customers, internal stakeholders and senior management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using CRM, learning management or business systems.
- Willingness to travel occasionally and work flexible hours when required for events or customer training.
Desirable Experience
- Experience training users on professional aesthetic, skincare or beauty devices.
- Experience with microcurrent, microdermabrasion, LED, ultrasound, radio frequency or other aesthetic technologies.
- Recognised qualification in beauty therapy, aesthetics, skincare, teaching, assessing or adult education.
- Experience working within an ISO 13485, medical device, regulated beauty or quality-managed environment.
- Knowledge of competency assessment, certification frameworks and training governance.
- Experience creating digital training content, online courses or instructional videos.
- Experience supporting clinics with advanced treatment programmes or accreditation schemes.
