About The Role
The Early Years Alliance is a registered educational charity, the largest and most representative early years membership organisation in England running 27 nurseries and supporting 28,000 member providers and supporters.
The Alliance has a long and proud tradition as a provider of high-quality qualification training for people working in the early years sector. Courses are offered from level 2 to level 5 for learners and apprentices. Following a strong Ofsted inspection of our provision in July, we are now looking to recruit a Training Quality Manager to expand the range of programmes we offer and develop further our engagement with learners, apprentices and employers. The Alliance’s training team is a strategic partner with DfE, Skills England and a range of other key stakeholders in early years and post compulsory education and this role offers an opportunity to be involved directly in shaping and improving the early years workforce framework into the future.
The role is hybrid working and will be based in a location to be agreed with the successful candidate.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
