Buckinghamshire Mind is looking for a Training Services Lead (Job-Share).
The Training Services Lead is responsible for the strategic and operational delivery of commissioned Mental Health and Suicide First Aid training across Buckinghamshire and East Berkshire. The purpose of this role is to identify funding opportunities, develop new content in response to community needs, marketing, training delivery, contract management and administration, and evaluating impact.
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Hybrid home-working model with a base at High Wycombe office. Travel across Buckinghamshire and East Berkshire
Hours: 30 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Salary: £29,795.00 FTE (pro rata actual £24,158.11)
About Us
Buckinghamshire Mind is an independent charity providing trusted mental health services to our communities. We are affiliated with national Mind and are part of a network of over 100 Local Minds. We promote wellbeing and recovery; we prevent mental ill health; we offer talking therapies and we provide support in times of crisis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training at Buckinghamshire Mind is an agile prevention service which uses community engagement to increase mental health literacy across the counties of Buckinghamshire and East Berkshire.
- Plan, schedule and administer Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) and Suicide First Aid (SFA) courses.
- Work with a network of consultant trainers to support the delivery of engaging and impactful mental health & wellbeing training to diverse audiences, including monitoring feedback, processing invoices, and maintaining quality standards.
- Lead preparation and submission of future contract and tender applications.
- Monitor expenditure and funding requirements within agreed budgets.

The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience of coordinating and administering training programmes or learning and development activities.
- Experience of managing contracts, grants or commissioned services.
- Excellent organisational and written communication skills, including report writing and bid writing.
- Understanding of equality and diversity principles, as well as mental health, wellbeing and community-based services.

Travel Expenses
Travel expenses will only be paid for journeys that fall outside of the regular commute to and from the work location(s). If the role is home-based, all travel will be paid for on expenses.
