Who We Are
We are a consultancy operating within Robert Walters, the world's most trusted talent solutions business. Across the globe, we deliver recruitment, outsourcing, and talent advisory services for businesses of all sizes, opening doors for people with diverse skills, ambitions, and backgrounds.
The Role
We are seeking a Training Specialist to join us on a permanent basis via the Robert Walters Consultancy. Your first assignment will be at Marsh, in London. For this role, we are seeking candidates with expertise in delivering IT systems training across multiple channels and learning formats, with the ability to upskill diverse user groups, drive user adoption, and effectively transfer knowledge regardless of prior industry experience.
What you'll do:
- Support the rollout of the Broker Work Bench programme, a key London Market initiative that integrates multiple systems and data sources to enhance broking workflows and trading outcomes.
- Deliver training to a large user population of 1,000-2,000 employees across the business, with the majority of training scheduled between now and July.
- Facilitate a blend of classroom and virtual training sessions, including hands-on "click-and-follow" training for small groups and demonstration sessions for larger audiences.
- Create, update, and maintain training materials, user guides, and learning content, ensuring documentation remains aligned with ongoing system enhancements.
- Provide floor-walking, drop-in support, and go-live assistance, helping users adopt new processes and resolve issues during implementation phases.
- Work closely with an experienced incumbent and project stakeholders to learn the platform, understand multiple user journeys (broker, underwriter, and administrative functions), and deliver effective end-user training.
- Manage training administration activities, including scheduling, communications, reporting, SharePoint content management, and supporting the overall training workstream throughout the project lifecycle.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
