About the Role:

Leidos is looking for an experienced Training Specialist to support a high-profile Systems Integration programme. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and influence training solutions within a mission-critical environment, working closely with both UK and US-based teams as well as our customer stakeholders.

This role combines instructional design expertise, stakeholder engagement, and consultancy. You'll play a key role in developing innovative learning solutions, helping to drive adoption, inspire change, and ensure training is delivered effectively within a highly regulated environment.

We're looking for someone who can build trusted relationships, challenge existing approaches constructively, and bring fresh ideas to enhance learning experiences.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Design, develop, and implement training solutions that meet evolving business and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand learning needs and recommend effective training approaches.
  • Develop and review courseware, learning materials, and supporting documentation.
  • Assess and incorporate customer and partner-provided training content into engaging learning solutions.
  • Utilise Learning Management Systems (LMS) to manage, maintain, and support training delivery.
  • Provide expert advice on instructional design methodologies, technologies, tools, and learning best practices.
  • Produce training plans, course outlines, and schedules to support programme delivery.
  • Ensure training materials remain accurate, up to date, and aligned to quality standards.
  • Support Training Design Reviews and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and oversee training activities and learning pathways across the programme.
  • Act as a key contributor to the governance and assurance of training deliverables.
  • Identify opportunities to improve training effectiveness, learner engagement, and operational efficiency.

What We're Looking For:

We recognise that no candidate will meet every requirement. If your experience is closely aligned with the role and you're excited by the opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
