About The Role
We're looking for a proactive and detail-focused Site Training Validator to join our team and play a key role in ensuring operational training is delivered consistently, effectively, and to the highest standards.
This role is responsible for validating the quality of training across the site, helping to ensure colleagues are competent, compliant, and confident in their roles. You'll work closely with operational teams, trainers, and key stakeholders to maintain an audit-ready training environment and support continuous improvement across the business.
As part of Pilgrim's Europe, you'll contribute to developing a skilled workforce while helping maintain the high standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence that our business is known for.
What You'll Be Doing
- Follow weekly validation plans, prioritising high-risk activities, Health & Safety requirements, and Critical Control Points (CCPs)
- Observe and assess training delivery through structured observations, questioning, and coaching techniques
- Validate factory training processes, SOPs, and work instructions delivered by operational trainers and technical teams
- Maintain and update the Learning Management System (LMS) daily
- Ensure all training records, assessments, and supporting documentation are accurate, signed, and audit-ready
- Communicate any performance, competency, or behavioural concerns to employees and line managers
- Support the creation and improvement of training materials, SOPs, and assessment tools
- Assist with site inductions and onboarding activities when required
- Support internal and external audits by providing training evidence and documentation
- Work collaboratively with operational teams to identify training gaps and ensure changes are reflected in training materials
- Raise concerns relating to inaccuracies in SOPs and work instructions and ensure corrective actions are taken

What We're Looking For
- Strong observation and assessment skills
- Ability to evaluate competence through effective questioning techniques
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Confidence to challenge non-compliance and escalate concerns appropriately
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
- Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or other training platforms
- Ability to plan, prioritise, and work independently
- A proactive approach with a passion for developing people
Desirable
- Training delivery or facilitation experience
- Coaching experience
- Recognised training qualification
- Manufacturing or food production experience
