Area of Interest: Transaction Banking

Business Area: Corporate and Institutional Banking

Short Description:

Help businesses move money across borders quickly, safely and efficiently.

About the business area

Corporate and Institutional Banking helps some of the world’s largest companies grow and succeed by offering investment and financial solutions. Working across markets, sectors and borders, you’ll help deliver the insight, connectivity and support that enable clients to navigate change and unlock new opportunities.

Global Payment Solutions (GPS) is a multi-award winning team who helps clients make payments across borders, across currencies and regulations, quickly and efficiently.

Who you are

You’re someone who enjoys solving problems, building relationships and understanding how money moves around the world. You don’t need to arrive fluent in transaction banking — bring your curiosity, initiative and willingness to learn, and we’ll help with the rest. You could be a great fit if you work well with others, communicate clearly and stay interested when things get technical. You like connecting ideas, using data to support decisions and finding smarter ways to improve experiences for clients. You’re motivated, accountable and comfortable taking ownership of your work. Just as importantly, you enjoy learning from people around you and developing your own style as you grow. If you’re interested in payments, technology and helping clients navigate a fast-changing global landscape, you’ll feel at home here.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
