Due to the continuing success of Waylands we are looking for a Transaction Manager to join the team at our Kia dealership in Reading.

The successful applicant will be an excellent communicator with first-class presentation skills, strong attention to detail, and Automotive Showroom experience in a similar position - you will have a complete understanding of what it takes to successfully assist the sales team in constructing and closing deals in a profitable way with a major emphasis on Customer Satisfaction.

Our ideal candidate is someone who is already in a similar role. However, we would consider someone who is an experienced Senior Sales Executive looking to progress.

What’s the Role?

This role involves sitting with our customers and making recommendations on and selling finance, insurance products and additional products, whilst working within FCA regulations and company guidelines. You will need to either be FCA accredited or be prepared to become accredited.

You will need to develop successful working relationships whilst working in close collaboration with the General Sales Manager, Sales team, and other internal departments to help facilitate the swift delivery of our customers’ vehicles.

What Does a Typical Day Involve?

  • Matching customers’ needs to the relevant finance sources.
  • Maximising the sales department’s performance through effective lead management and reporting.
  • Constructing offers and assisting in closing sales through second facing and on-going coaching of the Sales team.
  • Promoting accurate and efficient order processing and timely vehicle deliveries.
  • Assisting the Sales Manager in achieving the New Car registration targets and Used Car volume sales, whilst maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Financial forecasting
  • Deputising for the Sales Manager as necessary

What Do You Get in Return?

  • 5.5-day week on a set rota that includes weekends (45 hours per week).
  • Basic salary of £25,000 with an OTE of up to £60k
