About Our Team
The Corporate Finance Team supports the Calico Group by ensuring effective treasury management processes are in place to meet the needs of the business and that the necessary funding requirements are put in place, monitored, and reviewed. The team ensures that payments for goods and services are made on a timely basis and that invoices for goods and services provided to customers are issued and paid promptly.
The team is responsible for testing and regulatory requirements such as financial returns to the Regulator of Social Housing, VAT and tax, rent accounting, along with the production of statutory accounts for the Group companies.
The Opportunity
The role will be responsible for managing the Accounts Payable systems for the Calico Group companies, ensuring adequate systems are maintained for the timely and efficient payment of creditors in line with agreed terms and conditions. It will also manage the Accounts Receivable system for corporate debts, ensuring adequate controls and systems are in place to monitor and collect outstanding debts effectively.

What We’re Looking For
We believe in recruiting for potential as well as experience. Our ideal candidate will have:
- Experience of system and transaction accounting
- Experience of implementing process improvements focused on self-service and automation of processes
- Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Strong knowledge and experience of system functionality and self-service initiatives
- Understanding of credit control, VAT and other taxes
