Transaction Monitoring Manager - Commodity Trade Finance

Location: London

Day Rate: £358pd umbrella

We're working with a leading global bank looking for an experienced Transaction Monitoring Manager to join its specialist Commodity Trade Finance function.

This is a key role focused on the effective management of customer transactions, exposure and collateral, ensuring activity is carried out within agreed facilities, policies and risk parameters.

The role

You'll be responsible for:

  • Monitoring customer liabilities, exposure and collateral across secured Commodity Trade Finance facilities.
  • Assessing collateral quality, value and acceptability against agreed requirements.
  • Monitoring transactions throughout their lifecycle and identifying potential risk or irregular activity.
  • Reviewing drawdown information and ensuring transactions are processed accurately and within approved terms.
  • Supporting the implementation and effective use of a Collateral Management System.
  • Working closely with internal teams and clients to ensure a high-quality, controlled transaction management service.

We're looking for:

  • Strong Commodity Trade Finance experience - essential.
  • Experience across collateral, transaction management or Trade Finance operations.
  • Good understanding of credit, market and commodity risk.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Previous team leadership or management experience would be beneficial.
