Transaction Services Manager
We are now looking for a Transaction Services Manager to lead a high-performing team responsible for all transactions that pass through our tills. Our Transaction Services Managers represent operational excellence and are driven by delivering for our customers, our brands, and by providing best in class service whilst playing a key role in due diligence.
Protecting Harrods’ brand integrity and reputation will be at the heart of what you do, achieved through ensuring strict compliance with AML laws and by maintaining regulatory responsibilities. You will also work closely with our Security and Compliance teams to maintain preventive work in order to keep customers and brands safe.
This role is fully on site, working 5 out of the 7 days a week.
About the Role
As a Transaction Services Manager, you will lead a high-performing team dedicated to delivering exceptional service and operational excellence. Using data, trend analysis, and feedback from our retail teams and customers, you will shape processes that meet evolving needs and regulatory requirements. Your role is pivotal in building trust with our most valued customers and strengthening long-term relationships with brands and stakeholders.
You will inspire and develop your team, fostering an inclusive, high-energy culture where success is celebrated and challenges are met head-on. Through clear goal setting, performance coaching, and a focus on resilience, you will ensure your team consistently delivers under pressure. With a passion for people development and an eye for future talent, you’ll set the standard for leadership that is both results-driven and people-focused.

About You
You’ll come from a relevant industry such as banking or financial services, with proven experience handling high-value transactions and deep knowledge of compliance areas including AML, GDPR, KYC frameworks, sanctions and PEP screening, and transaction monitoring processes. You are a performance-driven leader with a knack for building resilient teams that thrive in fast-changing environments. Strategic yet hands-on, you keep your skills sharp and your team’s development at the forefront, ensuring consistent growth across the department.
You’ll also:
- Be a natural communicator, excelling at building relationships across the business and translating complex information into clear, actionable insights for both specialists and non-specialists
- Have an eye for detail and a data-driven mindset, using insights to identify risks, streamline processes, and influence key stakeholders
- Be compliance-obsessed, staying ahead of regulatory changes and embedding best practice into every process to ensure the highest standards are met without compromise
- Combine day-to-day delivery with long-term strategic thinking, exploring new ways to strengthen business resilience and add commercial value
- Be commercially astute, understanding both Harrods and the luxury market, able to position Transaction Service as a true competitive advantage for our in-house brands
