A newly established, advisory-led tax practice is seeking an experienced Transactions Tax Manager or Senior Manager to join its growing team.

This is a rare opportunity to join a business at an exciting stage of growth, working alongside senior tax professionals in a modern, entrepreneurial environment. The firm advises large multinational groups, listed businesses, and private equity-backed organisations, delivering high-quality, conflict-free tax advice on complex transactions and strategic business decisions. The role offers exposure to a broad range of domestic and international projects, with the opportunity to help shape the future direction of a growing transactions tax practice.

The Opportunity

You will work with corporate and private equity clients on acquisitions, disposals, refinancing projects, restructurings and cross-border transactions. Acting as a trusted adviser, you will help clients identify tax risks, structure transactions efficiently and navigate an increasingly complex international tax landscape. Beyond client work, you will have the opportunity to influence how the team operates, contribute to business development initiatives and play a key role in building a high-performing practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead buy-side and sell-side tax due diligence engagements for corporate and private equity clients.
  • Identify, assess and quantify tax risks and opportunities within target businesses.
  • Advise on tax-efficient acquisition, disposal and investment structures.
  • Support transaction execution through SPA review, negotiation support and tax covenant analysis.
  • Provide strategic advice on reorganisations, refinancing arrangements and post-deal integration projects.
  • Advise on international tax matters affecting cross-border transactions and multinational groups.
  • Monitor developments in international tax legislation, including OECD-led reforms and global minimum tax initiatives.
  • Work closely with legal, corporate finance and international advisory teams on complex transactions.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Support business development activities, proposals and market-facing initiatives.
  • Mentor and develop junior members of the team.
  • Contribute to the growth, strategy and ongoing development of the transactions tax offering.
  • Champion the use of technology and AI-enabled solutions to enhance efficiency and client service delivery.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
