Are you an experienced finance professional, ready to shine in a new, European team?
We are looking for a responsible, driven Transactions Finance Analyst with great attention to detail to support our new and future acquisitions as well as working on complex strategic initiatives within Mileway. In this broad role, which is part of Mileway’s Finance department, you will work across all disciplines in the business including Property Management, Asset Management, IT as well as with the Transactions, Portfolio Management and FP&A and other finance teams. This role will offer significant exposure to leadership and demands a proactive, structured approach to planning, tracking, and delivering key milestones under tight deadlines.

You’ll be based at our London West End office. While we embrace a flexible approach to work, our policy requires working from the office three days a week.
What you’ll do
- Lead the coordination of multiple workstreams across finance, legal, operations, tax, and external advisors
- Manage complex, high-priority tasks within a project with numerous dependencies and moving parts
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of critical project milestones under tight deadlines
- Maintain exceptional attention to detail in the review, management, and tracking of documentation
- Work closely with senior stakeholders, preparing updates, summaries, and decision-support materials
- Operate across several jurisdictions, understanding and aligning country-specific requirements
- Demonstrate strong ownership and accountability
- Organise and chair weekly calls to monitor projects progress and ensure action points are followed up
- Work with all parties involved in the acquisition to make sure Mileway obtains all acquisition documents needed for reporting and audit review
- Quickly absorb new concepts, processes, and technical information to keep projects moving forward
- As transactions are market driven and with the current market volatility, you may be required to assist other teams within the finance function when finance transactions activities are quieter. This is a great opportunity to expand your knowledge and understanding of other finance areas.

What you’ll bring
- Your strong project management skills. You are well organized with the ability to manage and prioritise many simultaneous tasks, without compromising your excellent quality standard and attention to detail
- Your qualification as a full chartered accountant is desirable, but not required
- If accountant, at least three years’ post-qualified experience ideally from an audit background or experience working in industry with some exposure to transactions
- Your strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal. You can confidently and assertively chair calls to make sure all points are covered and ensure good outcomes
- Bags of initiative! You are a proactive worker who will see opportunities and address them
- You have great team energy. You’re a hands-on self-starter who works confidently and independently, and you also collaborate well with others
- Flexibility in the role and willingness to adapt and help other finance team’s when needed
- Experience with Yardi Voyager is a plus
