A growing Transaction Advisory Services team within a Top 10 accountancy firm is looking for an experienced M&A Tax Manager to join its expanding practice, advising private equity and corporate clients across a broad range of domestic and international transactions.
The Role
- Advise on tax structuring and due diligence across buy-side and sell-side transactions.
- Work with private equity funds, corporates, law firms, and other transaction advisers.
- Lead client discussions, due diligence meetings, and presentations.
- Review and oversee tax due diligence reports and structuring advice.
- Work closely with Financial Due Diligence, SPA Advisory, and Corporate Finance teams.
- Consider tax implications of acquisition structures, forecasts, funds flows, and legal documentation.
- Support business development, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients.
- Manage project budgets, deadlines, and junior team members.
- Develop and maintain strong client and internal relationships.

Requirements
- ACA, CA, CTA, ADIT, or equivalent qualification.
- Strong grounding in UK taxation, ideally with UK Corporation Tax and/or M&A experience.
- Experience advising on technical tax matters and managing client projects.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
- Exposure to areas such as Transfer Pricing, R&D, VAT, Employment Tax, Stamp Duty, or share transactions would be advantageous.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
