Your opportunity

You will supervise the transfer agencies (TA) and other Third Party Administrators (TPAs) in line with the Janus Henderson Global Outsourcing Policy, and TPA Risk and Governance framework. The role will be performed within our existing framework of oversight, governance and relationship management and will monitor the delivery of services against agreed service levels and Key Performance Indicators.

You will be located in our London office. Your primary focus will be the oversight of our Distribution Expenses for our UK, Luxembourg and Irish fund ranges.

You will have specific experience and background in TA within the UK and or Luxembourg/Dublin.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and run services standards provided by TA to ensure excellent client service is delivered
  • Oversee and perform client rebate calculations
  • Lead and resolve queries from internal and external parties and with the TPAs
  • Perform standardized TPA monitoring and due diligence oversight and reviews, both desk based and on site at TPAs
  • Work with the wider team to ensure standards are best practice, standardized across product types and fund ranges where possible and meet local requirements
  • Review and enhance processes where possible to ensure we achieve excellent client service
  • Produce MI reporting as required
  • Build a strong working relationship with the TPA client service and relationship management teams
  • Share knowledge and cross train other team members on areas of expertise to ensure a broad skilled team
  • Work with manager and team to develop a cross training plan to develop skills defined in objectives and on job description
  • Keep abreast of any new industry developments/trends and communicate these to the wider team
  • Support change projects as required
  • Participate in any client operational due diligence meetings as required
  • Your role may require you to interact with other JHI offices, employees and third parties based in different time zones, outside of core business hours, such as the UK, USA and Asia
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned

  • Good working knowledge of investment funds and products and their distribution
  • Knowledge of UK, Luxembourg and Ireland regulatory framework
  • Strong background in controls and problem solving
  • Good Transfer Agency oversight skills including systems (Sara, GTAS, AWD)
  • Good general IT skills including PowerPoint, Excel and database used for analysis and reporting purposes
  • Previous TA experience
  • Meaningful industry qualification e.g. IMC/ IOC (formerly IAQ)
  • DST systems knowledge helpful
  • Complaint background helpful
  • Asset management experience helpful
