Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Supplier Quality Conformance Manager to join an engineering team in Wrexham.
The role will focus on Supplier Quality, Transfer of Work (ToW), First Article Inspection (FAI) and product conformity within an aerospace manufacturing environment.
You will work closely with suppliers and internal Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Procurement and Supply Chain teams to ensure quality requirements are met throughout industrialisation and production.

- Lead and support Transfer of Work (ToW) quality activities.
- Manage and coordinate First Article Inspection (FAI) activities and documentation.
- Assess supplier readiness and identify quality and conformity risks.
- Review supplier quality documentation, manufacturing records and FAI packs.
- Drive the closure of non-conformances, corrective actions and quality issues.
- Support supplier reviews, audits and onsite quality activities.
- Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Procurement and Supply Chain teams.
- Track quality deliverables, risks and actions, escalating issues where required.
- Support continuous improvement of supplier quality and product conformity.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Supplier Quality, Supplier Quality Management or Supplier Quality Conformance Management.
- Experience within Aerospace or another highly regulated manufacturing environment.
- Strong experience with Transfer of Work (ToW).
- Strong practical knowledge of First Article Inspection (FAI).
- Experience working directly with suppliers and managing supplier quality performance.
- Good understanding of manufacturing, product conformity and quality processes.
- Experience with non-conformance management, root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
- Excellent written and verbal English.

Desirable
- Knowledge of AS9100 and AS9102 / FAI.
- Experience with APQP and PPAP.
- Aerospace OEM or Tier 1 supplier experience.
- Experience with supplier audits and quality reviews.
- Experience in industrialisation or Transfer of Work programmes.
- Experience within Aerospace, Defence, Automotive or other highly regulated environments.
Working Environment
The role is based in Wrexham. The position follows a hybrid working arrangement, with 3–4 days onsite per week. Occasional travel to supplier sites may be required depending on business requirements.
