About the role

To provide strategic transfer pricing support to the business units, QSC and other functions across compliance, controversy, policy and implementation.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage key projects linked to transfer pricing policy and implementation that arise on an ad hoc basis. These may include Advance Pricing Agreements, IP transfers, collaboration with Business Development to execute projects successfully, improvements to transfer pricing charging processes with Operational Transfer Pricing, and the execution of integrations or divestments.
  • Test, review and approve outputs from transfer pricing processes executed by the operational tax team, including profitability reviews and intercompany service charging, as well as transfer pricing documentation reports.
  • Lead the transfer pricing aspects of local tax audits in territories around the world, including gathering data and drafting or presenting responses to tax authorities.
  • Diagnose the root causes of transfer pricing issues, and design and implement solutions in partnership with the business.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the business’s supply chain, research and development, and commercial operations. Partner with the business to identify pressure points in the context of tax and transfer pricing constraints, and propose solutions that achieve the best outcomes for the group.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
