Transfer Pricing Manager
Location: London (2-3 days per week onsite)
Contract Length: Until July 2027
Rate: £550-£650 p/d via Umbrella
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Transfer Pricing Manager to provide strategic transfer pricing support across a complex international business. This role will focus on transfer pricing policy, compliance, controversy management, documentation, and implementation activities, partnering with finance, tax, commercial, R&D, and operational teams globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage transfer pricing projects, including policy implementation, business restructures, IP transfers, integrations, divestments, and Advance Pricing Agreements (APAs).
- Review, test, and sign off transfer pricing processes and documentation prepared by operational tax teams.
- Manage transfer pricing aspects of tax audits and enquiries across multiple jurisdictions.
- Gather, analyse, and present information to tax authorities and external stakeholders.
- Identify transfer pricing risks and develop practical, commercially focused solutions.
- Partner with business leaders to understand operational changes and assess transfer pricing implications.
- Support the design and implementation of transfer pricing policies and operating models.
- Review financial models, valuations, and transfer pricing analyses.
- Work closely with finance and business stakeholders to improve intercompany charging processes and controls.
- Provide guidance on OECD transfer pricing principles and international tax requirements.

Required Experience
- Minimum 4+ years' experience in Transfer Pricing and Tax, either in-house or within a Big 4/professional services environment.
- Strong knowledge of OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines and international transfer pricing regulations.
- Experience managing transfer pricing audits and enquiries.
- Strong financial analysis and modelling capabilities.
- Proven project management experience within complex multinational environments.
- Ability to balance technical tax requirements with commercial business objectives.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Science, or a related analytical discipline.
- ACA, CTA, or equivalent professional tax/accountancy qualification.
- Experience working within large multinational organisations.
