Transfer Pricing Manager

Our client is a successful PE-backed tech business searching for a Transfer Pricing Manager to join the tax team near Heathrow with a very flexible hybrid working pattern.

This is an established business which has enjoyed continued growth with its latest AI technology. As the Transfer Pricing Manager, you will report to the Transfer Pricing Director and work alongside 8 others in the tax team. A few of your responsibilities include:

  • Own the preparation, review and delivery of Local Files across the Group’s jurisdictions, coordinating external advisers if needed and ensuring local files are completed on time, reflect current transfer pricing policies, and are consistent with the Master File and Group methodology.
  • Support the Transfer Pricing Director in maintaining and updating the Group’s global transfer pricing documentation framework, including the Master File and transfer pricing disclosures. Contribute to ensuring documentation standards and methodology are consistently applied across all jurisdictions.
  • Manage the day-to-day use and maintenance of the Group’s Aibidia documentation platform, ensuring data quality, completeness and version control across all local and global documentation workstreams.
  • Support and coordinate functional interviews with global business and finance leads to gather information required for documentation, refresh functional and risk profiles, and confirm that transfer pricing policies are correctly reflected in local entity operations.
  • Coordinate reviews with local finance teams to confirm that global transfer pricing policies are appropriately applied at the local level, identifying and escalating deviations or areas requiring policy clarification.
  • Support benchmarking analyses across the Group’s key transaction types, assisting in database searches, comparables selection and report preparation, working with external advisers.
  • Support the management of the Group’s transfer pricing compliance calendar, tracking local file deadlines, and associated transfer pricing filing requirements across all jurisdictions, and flagging risks to the Transfer Pricing Director on a timely basis.
  • Assist in transfer pricing audits and tax authority enquiries by preparing documentation responses and supporting materials.
  • Support the Transfer Pricing Director and wider tax function on ad hoc projects, including policy implementation, business change analysis, and other initiatives as required.

To be considered for this position, you should be ACA, CTA, or ADIT qualified with practical transfer pricing documentation experience. Excellent project management skills, and the ability to communicate and liaise with key stakeholders are essential.

This opportunity offers £75,000-£85,000 base salary plus 10% discretionary bonus, and other benefits. The tax team are in office 1-2 days a week but are generally very flexible.
