Interim Transfer Pricing Specialist
Location: London
Contract: 3 months +
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £450pd-£550pd (depending on experience)
Altum Consulting are partnering with a fast-growing international technology business to recruit an Interim Transfer Pricing Specialist to join their London office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional with strong transfer pricing exposure to join the business at an important stage of growth.
The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing transfer pricing accounting and reporting across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions, while supporting the wider finance team with complex intercompany transactions, reporting, controls and governance.
This is an urgent interim requirement, with an ASAP start, so candidates who are immediately or very shortly available are strongly preferred.
Role:
- Oversee transfer pricing accounting and reporting across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions, ensuring intercompany transactions comply with OECD guidelines, local regulations and Group policies.
- Support the design, implementation and ongoing maintenance of transfer pricing policies aligned with the Group's operating model and financial and tax reporting requirements.
- Ensure appropriate transfer pricing documentation is maintained across relevant entities and jurisdictions.
- Support the review and implementation of consistent intercompany pricing methodologies across the Group.
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end and year-end processes for intercompany transactions, including allocations, eliminations, reconciliations and reporting within NetSuite.
- Ensure accurate accounting and disclosure of services, royalties, loans, guarantees and other cross-border arrangements.
- Investigate and resolve intercompany discrepancies, ensuring balances are accurately reconciled and supported.
- Collaborate with Technical Accounting on complex intercompany transactions, including restructurings, M&A, financing arrangements, intellectual property transfers and cost-sharing agreements.
- Support accurate and timely financial reporting across the Group's legal entity structure.
- Support the integration of newly acquired entities by implementing Group transfer pricing policies, consistent intercompany pricing and documentation requirements.

You'll be/have:

- 3-6 years of relevant accounting experience, including month-end close, reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Strong practical experience in transfer pricing.
- Good knowledge of international accounting standards and familiarity with cross-border transactions.
- Experience with IFRS and/or UK/US GAAP.
- Strong technical accounting skills with the ability to understand and navigate complex transactions.
- Immediate or very short-term availability is essential for this assignment.
