Derbyshire Constabulary are looking for Transferee Detective Constables to join our Child Sexual Exploitation Team

Join as a dedicated Detective Constable within our Child Sexual Exploitation Department - You’ll work collaboratively as part of a specialist team, conducting high quality investigations to safeguard vulnerable individuals and bring offenders to justice. You must be PIP 2 qualified (or working towards this accreditation) with a strong commitment to teamwork and delivering justice.

What You’ll Be Doing

• You will instigate, plan and conduct enforcement activity to detect and disrupt criminality resulting from intelligence led investigations.
• You will undertake high quality criminal investigations in relation to child sexual investigations and medium and high risk children of sexual exploitation, disrupting criminal activity and bringing offenders to justice.
• You will support parallel investigations into missing episodes of children assessed as Med/High risk of sexual exploitation, to identify and pursue any criminality.
