Transformation and Change Specialist
Reporting to: S&T Director / Transformation Lead
The Transformation & Change Specialist plays a pivotal role in helping shape, structure and deliver the Europe Hub transformation agenda. Working across strategic priorities, the role bridges strategy development and implementation by supporting business leaders to define future-state operating models, establish governance, develop business cases and drive transformation programmes through to execution.
Initially, the role will focus on Healthcare Transformation, supporting the development of a fact-based understanding of current performance, articulation of the future-state ambition and creation of a structured transformation roadmap. The role will subsequently support Design Transformation initiatives, Balanced Scorecard implementation and broader strategic transformation priorities relating to the Europe Hub's future operating model, including the new delivery and employment paradigms.
Key Accountabilities
Healthcare Transformation
- Support the development of the Healthcare Transformation programme from strategy through implementation.
- Conduct detailed analysis of the current state, including operational performance, ways of working, organisational structures and governance arrangements.
- Support the articulation of a future-state operating model aligned to long-term business ambitions.
- Structure transformation priorities into clear workstreams, breakthrough initiatives and implementation roadmaps.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to develop transformation recommendations and implementation plans.
- Establish governance frameworks, decision-making processes, reporting cadence and value-tracking mechanisms.
- Prepare materials and recommendations for executive reviews and leadership forums.
Design Transformation
- Support the development and mobilisation of Design Transformation initiatives across the Europe Hub.
- Work with Strategy, Design, Technical and Operational stakeholders to support the translation of strategic ambitions into practical transformation programmes.
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement activities to identify challenges, opportunities and priorities for design transformation.
- Support the development of business cases, implementation roadmaps and governance frameworks for Design Transformation initiatives.
- Assist with the assessment of current design processes, organisational interfaces, ways of working and opportunities for increased standardisation, automation and industrialisation.
- Help define change impacts arising from new design approaches, technologies, processes and operating models.
- Support programme governance, reporting and progress tracking to ensure visibility of decisions, risks and delivery milestones.
- Work with functional teams to support adoption of new ways of working and embed transformation outcomes into day-to-day operations.
- Facilitate alignment between design, manufacturing, delivery and enabling functions to support successful implementation of design transformation priorities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
