Transformation Business Analyst x2

These are key roles within the Transformation and Delivery Unit, supporting the delivery of the Council's transformation and improvement portfolio.

Working across major transformation projects and programmes, you will lead complex business analysis activities to help services define problems, identify opportunities, redesign processes and develop sustainable solutions that deliver measurable benefits for residents and the organisation.

You will work across the full project lifecycle, from problem definition, requirements gathering and process redesign through to target operating model development, business case production, solution design and testing. The role requires strong analytical capability, excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to operate effectively in complex and changing environments.

You will also contribute to the development of the Council's business analysis capability by sharing knowledge, promoting best practice, supporting colleagues and helping to establish consistent approaches across transformation initiatives.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong track record of delivering business analysis within complex transformation, change and service improvement programmes.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Extensive experience applying business analysis tools, methods and techniques in complex project environments.
  • Strong experience in business process mapping, process redesign and continuous improvement.
  • Experience developing target operating models, conducting organisational analysis and supporting service transformation.
  • Experience preparing robust business cases and contributing to benefits realisation.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills, including working with senior leaders.
  • The ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement and navigate ambiguity effectively.
  • A strong understanding of business analysis methodologies and best practice.
  • Experience mentoring, coaching or supporting colleagues and promoting knowledge sharing across teams.
  • A recognised business analysis qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
