About the Role
BP is seeking an expert Group Transformation Consultant to partner with business leaders and teams in delivering large-scale transformation initiatives across the organisation. This role will play a key part in driving organisational agility, embedding customer-centric ways of working, improving employee engagement, and supporting balanced culture change. The successful candidate will combine strong change management expertise with critical thinking, customer influence, and analytical capability to deliver measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the implementation of agile ways of working across teams and transformation programmes.
- Assess current operating models, identify improvement opportunities, and develop data-driven recommendations.
- Facilitate workshops, leadership sessions, and customer engagements to align teams around transformation objectives.
- Design and implement culture and behavioural change initiatives that support business strategy.
- Embed customer-centric thinking into transformation activities and decision-making processes.
- Develop and implement employee engagement strategies to support adoption and minimise resistance to change.
- Build strong relationships with customers at all levels and influence outcomes without direct authority.
- Conduct leadership assessments and provide guidance to leaders navigating organisational change.
- Apply established change management methodologies to ensure successful implementation of transformation initiatives.
- Address workforce concerns and support leaders in leading organisational impacts effectively.
- Chip in to organisational design and development activities, helping create effective and sustainable structures.
- Leverage knowledge of BP's business environment to tailor transformation approaches and maximise impact.
- Support strategic planning by providing insights, recommendations, and lessons learned from transformation programmes.
- Develop reporting and performance metrics using Excel and other tools to track transformation progress and outcomes.

Crucial Experience & Qualifications
- Validated experience leading large-scale business transformation, organisational change, or enterprise improvement programmes.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Demonstrable experience managing sophisticated customer groups and influencing senior leaders.
- Strong facilitation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience designing and delivering culture change and employee engagement initiatives.
- Knowledge of change management methodologies and standard processes.
- Understanding of development, operating model design, and workforce transformation.
- Ability to work optimally in sophisticated, matrixed corporate environments.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting.
Preferred Experience
- Experience conducting leadership assessments and supporting leadership development initiatives.
- Previous experience within a large multinational organisation undergoing significant transformation.
- Consulting background in transformation, strategy, organisational effectiveness, or change management.

Future Location Notice
This role will start in Sunbury, London. bp has announced a planned office move to Timber Square, London, with all positions currently advertised in Sunbury, including this one, expected to relocate around Q4 2027-Q1 2028. This presents an exciting opportunity for all employees and leaders to come together in one London location. The specific date of the move will be confirmed closer to the time.
