Transformation Director - London / Bracknell / Birmingham / Leeds / Manchester / Livingston - Hybrid - SCC Flex Contract

We are seeking an experienced Transformation Director to lead complex business and technology transformation programmes across a large-scale enterprise environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic and results-driven Transformation Director to join a high-profile client engagement, driving transformational change, delivering business outcomes, and ensuring programmes are aligned to organisational objectives.

The successful Transformation Director will be responsible for leading large-scale transformation initiatives, engaging senior stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of change across people, processes and technology.

Your responsibilities as the Transformation Director:

  • Lead the delivery of enterprise-wide transformation programmes, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
  • Define and drive transformation roadmaps, governance frameworks and delivery methodologies.
  • Engage and influence executive-level stakeholders, providing strategic leadership and direction throughout programme lifecycles.
  • Oversee multiple workstreams across business change, technology, operations and organisational transformation.
  • Ensure programme outcomes deliver measurable business value, operational efficiencies and enhanced customer experiences.
  • Establish robust programme governance, risk management and reporting structures.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, accountability and high performance.
  • Drive organisational change management activities to support successful adoption of new processes, systems and ways of working.
  • Manage programme budgets, resource plans and financial controls to ensure successful delivery within agreed constraints.
  • Identify, mitigate and manage programme risks, issues and dependencies across complex environments.
  • Work closely with business leaders, technology teams, external partners and suppliers to achieve transformation objectives.
  • Provide strategic insight and recommendations to support long-term organisational growth, innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to executive reporting, board-level presentations and strategic decision-making activities.

As a successful Transformation Director, you will have:

  • Proven experience operating as a Transformation Director, Programme Director or senior transformation leader within large enterprise environments.
  • Extensive experience leading complex business and technology transformation programmes.
  • Demonstrable success delivering large-scale change initiatives across multiple business functions.
  • Strong understanding of programme governance, portfolio management and transformation methodologies.
  • Experience managing executive and C-suite stakeholder relationships within complex organisational structures.
  • Strong financial management experience, including programme budgeting, forecasting and benefits realisation.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across business, technology and operational functions.
  • Excellent organisational change management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of digital transformation, operational transformation and business process optimisation.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and influencing skills.
  • Exceptional leadership, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience working within complex, fast-paced and highly regulated environments is highly desirable.
  • Relevant certifications such as MSP, PRINCE2, Agile, Change Management or equivalent are advantageous.
