Director – Commercial Transformation

London | Hybrid | £130,000–£140,000 + Bonus

A high-growth global technology business is seeking an exceptional Director of Commercial Transformation to partner directly with a Divisional Managing Director, helping shape and execute the next phase of the organisation's commercial growth strategy.

Following significant investment, organisational transformation and continued expansion, the business is entering a new phase focused on execution, commercial excellence and scalable growth. This newly created position offers a rare opportunity to operate at the centre of the executive leadership team, driving strategic initiatives from concept through to delivery while influencing how the business operates globally.

This is a highly visible role suited to someone who combines the structured thinking of strategy consulting with the pragmatism and pace required to deliver transformation inside a fast-moving commercial organisation.

What you'll own

  • Partner with the Divisional Managing Director to translate strategic priorities into executable transformation programmes, ensuring initiatives deliver measurable commercial outcomes.
  • Design and establish governance frameworks, operating rhythms and executive reporting that improve accountability, decision making and delivery across the business.
  • Drive commercial transformation initiatives spanning go-to-market strategy, commercial operating model, sales effectiveness and cross-functional execution.
  • Work across Product, Sales, Commercial, Revenue Operations and Consulting teams to improve collaboration, remove organisational friction and create a more integrated commercial ecosystem.
  • Lead strategic planning workshops, facilitate senior leadership alignment and ensure priorities are translated into clear execution plans.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify commercial processes, improve product commercialisation and strengthen go-to-market execution.
  • Develop executive-level business cases, board presentations, performance dashboards and KPI reporting to support strategic decision making.
  • Support commercial growth initiatives through market analysis, competitive assessment, portfolio evaluation and strategic planning for new products and services.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing challenge, insight and independent thinking to improve business performance and execution.
  • Influence large-scale commercial programmes from inception through implementation, ensuring delivery remains aligned to strategic objectives and measurable business outcomes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
