Role Title: Transformation Lead

Location: Leeds (Hybrid – 2 days per week on site)

Contract: Permanent

Working Pattern: Full Time

Salary: £80,000+ (DOE)

We're looking for an experienced Transformation Lead to join our Transformation Management Office and help drive the delivery of strategic change across MPS.

You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of MPS, leading transformation at an enterprise level, influencing strategic decision-making, and help ensure our investment in change delivers meaningful and lasting impact.

This is a role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, delivery, and organisational change. Rather than managing individual projects or programmes, you will lead and influence a portfolio of transformation activity, ensuring strategic priorities are translated into measurable business outcomes, organisational capability, and lasting value.

Working closely with senior leaders across the business, technology, and operational functions, you'll provide the leadership, challenge, and direction needed to align initiatives, optimise investment, and maintain focus on the outcomes that matter most.

As our new Transformation Lead, you will also:

  • Lead a portfolio of strategic transformation initiatives aligned to organisational priorities and long-term objectives.
  • Ensure change activity is prioritised, coordinated, and sequenced to maximise business value and organisational impact.
  • Translate strategic objectives into tangible business, operational, and member outcomes.
  • Influence senior stakeholders and governance forums, providing insight, challenge, and recommendations that shape key decisions.
  • Drive business readiness, adoption, and benefits realisation across the transformation portfolio.
  • Support portfolio optimisation and investment prioritisation to ensure resources are focused on the highest-value opportunities.
  • Champion transformation best practice, continuous improvement, and the evolution of new operating models and ways of working.
  • Balance pace, governance, risk, and organisational resilience to deliver sustainable change.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who We Are

Medical Protection Society (MPS) is the world’s leading protection organisation for Doctors, Dentists and healthcare professionals. We protect and support the professional interests of over 350,000 Members around the world.

We are a not-for-profit organisation, meaning our Members’ premiums are kept safe should our Members require support for complaints or claims arising from professional practice, or invested into bettering the organisation, our colleagues and our products.

Our philosophy is to support safe practice in medicine and dentistry by helping to avert problems in the first place. We also actively campaign for regulatory and legal reforms that benefit Members and the wider healthcare professions.

To do this, we need colleagues who are trusted and supported to deliver their best work, whether that be through leadership development, fully-funded training courses or peer-to-peer support. We want our colleagues to feel empowered enough to deliver positive change, display ambition to push themselves and are determined when faced with a challenge, whilst ensuring our Member’s best interests are at the core.
