Transformation Manager | UK, Remote

- Estimated compensation: €110,000–€220,000 + Equity
- Work authorization: Existing UK work authorization required
- Travel: Regular travel expected, including mandatory travel to Prague during final interview stages

About The Opportunity
- Join an early-stage AI company transforming operations across retail and CPG enterprises
- Own the customer's business transformation rather than simply managing software deployment
- Work directly with COOs, CFOs, board members, and other senior executives
- Connect AI capabilities to measurable P&L outcomes
- Turn successful pilots into multi-million-pound enterprise-wide expansions
- Build the transformation function alongside a small, high-ownership team
- Operate as a consultant-in-residence rather than a traditional Customer Success Manager
What You'll Own
- Own the customer's transformation roadmap and measurable business outcomes
- Identify the highest-value operational processes to transform
- Build data-backed business cases for AI-driven operational change
- Establish baselines, KPIs, and ROI measurement frameworks
- Quantify impact across revenue, margin, cost, productivity, and return on capital
- Present transformation strategies and proof points to C-level and board stakeholders
- Lead executive steering conversations
- Drive organizational buy-in for major operational changes
- Turn initial pilots into broader enterprise deployments
- Identify additional workflows and functions for expansion
- Lead the business and people side of AI-enabled process transformation
- Manage stakeholder resistance and organizational change
- Work with technical teams to ensure deployments support the intended business outcomes
- Build executive-ready proof packs demonstrating measurable impact

What We're Looking For
- Strong background in top-tier strategy or transformation consulting
- Experience from firms such as McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Deloitte, Accenture, or comparable organisations
- Engagement Manager-level experience or equivalent ownership
- Significant hands-on transformation experience within FMCG, CPG, or Retail
- Multiple substantial retail or CPG engagements strongly preferred
- Proven ability to own business outcomes rather than simply project delivery
- Experience building rigorous financial and operational business cases
- Strong understanding of P&L drivers
- Ability to quantify revenue growth, margin improvement, cost reduction, and productivity gains
- C-level credibility and executive presence
- Experience presenting to COOs, CFOs, executive committees, or boards
- Strong stakeholder and change-management capability
- Ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments
- Strong commercial instincts and authority-based selling approach

- Evidence of selling through expertise rather than traditional sales tactics
- Strong combination of strategic thinking and hands-on execution
- Experience in startups or other highly ambiguous environments
- Builder mentality and interest in creating a new function from the ground up

This role may not be the right fit if you
- Have no direct FMCG, CPG, or retail transformation experience
- Have no top-tier or Big 4 consulting background
- Have primarily worked as a technical project manager
- Come from purely reactive Customer Success roles
- Measure success mainly through features deployed or customer satisfaction rather than business impact
- Have limited exposure to C-level stakeholders
- Prefer clearly established processes and narrowly defined responsibilities
- Want to spend most of your time working on technical implementation
- Have worked exclusively in large, highly structured environments without evidence of operating independently
- Are unwilling to travel regularly
- Are unable to attend the required final interview stages in Prague

Interview process
- Stage 1: 30-minute Hiring Manager screen
- Stage 2: Approximately 1-hour asynchronous transformation task
- Stage 3: Approximately 2-hour on-site interview in Prague
- Stage 4: Fully compensated 2-day on-site trial in Prague on a real customer engagement
