The Transformation Division
The Transformation Division plays a pivotal role in translating business strategy into high-impact programmes that drive growth, enhance customer experience, and support long-term sustainable performance. Working in close partnership with senior leaders and Finance, the team operates across the organisation to shape and deliver initiatives that enable the business to remain competitive in a fast-moving retail landscape. As part of this dynamic and collaborative function, you will contribute to a multi-year transformation agenda that delivers meaningful outcomes for both colleagues and customers.
More about the role
As a Transformation Manager, you will lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from initial discovery and shaping through to delivery handover. You will be responsible for bringing clarity to ambiguous challenges by identifying the right business questions, applying an outcome-driven approach, and developing practical, evidence-based solutions. This includes building robust business cases, establishing governance frameworks, and coordinating matrix teams to deliver change effectively.
On a day-to-day basis, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to identify opportunities, manage risks, and influence key decisions. You may work on initiatives focused on revenue generation, cost optimisation, or the design and delivery of strategic transformation programmes. You will also play an active role in embedding agile ways of working and fostering a culture that supports innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
More about you
You bring demonstrable experience of delivering strategic, project-based change and are comfortable working in environments where direction and requirements may not be fully defined. You are confident using data, insight, and external perspectives to inform decision-making, and can distil complex information into clear, actionable recommendations aligned to broader business and customer objectives.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
