Location: Southampton, The Vision Centre (3 days in the office)
GLS: P05
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday (3 days in the office, 2 working from home)

Job Summary
As Programme Lead, you’ll be responsible for coordinating delivery across various workstreams, supporting governance processes, resolving cross-functional challenges and maintaining programme momentum.
This role is extremely collaborative and will work closely with a wide variety of departments including but not limited to; Commercial teams, Operations/Supply Chain and Regulatory. As well as this, you’d report to the Programme Director to implement agreed strategic priorities, support programme governance and ensure effective execution of programme plans whilst maintaining alignment to agreed objectives, timelines and outcomes.
Essential Functions & Accountabilities:
Programme Execution Leadership
- Act as deputy to the Programme Director.
- Lead day-to-day programme execution activities.
- Monitor progress against agreed programme objectives and milestones.
- Maintain visibility of risks, dependencies and delivery challenges.
- Escalate significant issues and decisions to the Programme Director as appropriate.
- Support implementation of decisions made through programme governance forums.
Cross-Workstream Coordination
- Coordinate activities across all programme workstreams.
- Facilitate collaboration between workstream leads and functional teams.
- Support alignment of plans, priorities and delivery activities.
- Identify conflicts, bottlenecks and delivery risks requiring intervention.
Delivery Support & Intervention
- Identify emerging delivery risks and challenges and facilitate resolution of issues.
- Coordinate recovery planning when programme objectives are at risk.
- Maintain focus on protecting customer experience, operational performance and programme outcomes.
- Escalate matters requiring Programme Director or SteerCo intervention.

Governance & Stakeholder Support
- Support Programme Director-led governance processes.
- Ensure programme actions, decisions and commitments are tracked and delivered.
- Support preparation for leadership forums and SteerCo reviews.
Business Readiness & Organisational Adoption
- Provide guidance and direction to Business Readiness, Change Management and Internal Communications activities across the programme.
- Ensure organisational readiness plans remain aligned to programme priorities and deployment plans approved through programme governance.
- Ensure lessons learned and continuous improvement opportunities are captured throughout programme delivery.
Internal Communications
- Lead the internal communications approach for the Courtyard Programme through the Change Manager & Internal Communications Manager.
- Review and align key programme messaging prior to distribution.
- Ensure timely and consistent communication of programme updates and agreed decisions.
- Monitor effectiveness of communications activities and recommend improvements where required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities, Experience
- Extensive experience leading organisational transformation, business change or strategic programmes.
- Experience engaging senior executives and cross-functional leadership teams.
- Proven experience driving organisational adoption and behavioural change.
- Experience developing communication, stakeholder engagement and readiness strategies.
- Experience supporting transition into new operating models and ways of working.
- Demonstrated ability to influence across complex multinational organisations.
- Experience operating in highly visible, business-critical transformation programmes.
- Strong transformation leadership capability.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Experience leading large-scale organisational change initiatives.
- Strong communication and engagement capability.
- Ability to influence senior leaders across complex matrix organisations.
- Strong facilitation and workshop leadership skills.
- Experience developing adoption strategies and readiness frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with practical execution.
- Experience operating within global transformation programmes.
