Transformation Programme Manager (Housing)
Contract: Outside IR35
Day Rate: Competitive (DOE)
Start Date: Mid-October
Location: Hybrid with regular onsite presence required, get in touch for more info (multi-site)
Duration: Initial 6 months with potential extension
We are seeking an experienced Transformation Programme Manager to lead a large-scale transformation programme for a housing organisation undergoing significant systems and business change.
This role will be responsible for driving end-to-end programme delivery across systems, processes, people, and technology, ensuring successful adoption and measurable business outcomes. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of delivering complex transformation initiatives within the housing sector and be comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of enterprise-wide transformation programmes.
- Manage system upgrades, implementations, and integrations across multiple business functions.
- Drive business process review, redesign, and optimisation activities.
- Ensure technology solutions align with organisational objectives and user requirements.
- Lead stakeholder engagement across executive, operational, and technology teams.
- Develop and execute business change and adoption strategies.
- Manage programme governance, risks, dependencies, budgets, and delivery plans.
- Work closely with third-party suppliers, system vendors, and implementation partners.
- Deliver improvements in system usability, service delivery, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure successful benefits realisation and long-term business value.

Essential Experience
- Significant experience delivering transformation programmes within Housing Associations or Registered Providers.
- Proven background in:
- Systems transformation
- Digital transformation
- Business change
- Process improvement
- Enterprise system upgrades
- System integration programmes
- Experience managing complex stakeholder environments.
- Strong programme governance and delivery management expertise.
- Demonstrable success delivering organisational change and user adoption initiatives.

- Housing management systems
- Finance and ERP transformation programmes
