Change & Transformation Project Manager (12-Month FTC – Maternity Cover)

Location: London (Hybrid)

The Opportunity

We're partnering with a leading London Market insurance underwriter to appoint an experienced Change & Transformation Project Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a business undergoing significant transformation, delivering high-impact strategic initiatives across technology, operations, and business change.

You'll work closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation, managing multiple transformation projects from inception through to delivery, ensuring programmes are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to wider business objectives.

This role would suit an experienced Project Manager with a strong background delivering change within the insurance market who enjoys working in fast-paced, stakeholder-heavy environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver end-to-end business and technology change projects across the organisation.
  • Manage multiple transformation initiatives simultaneously, ensuring successful delivery against scope, budget, and timelines.
  • Work closely with senior business stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, and success measures.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, RAID logs, governance documentation, and reporting.
  • Coordinate cross-functional delivery teams including Technology, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, and external vendors.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring appropriate mitigation plans are in place.
  • Lead project governance meetings and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support business readiness, implementation planning, and transition into BAU.
  • Champion best practice project delivery methodologies and continuous improvement.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
