Transformation Strategist
Spectrum Search is partnered with an early-stage AI technology company building enterprise process automation solutions. The company is looking for a Transformation Strategist to lead complex operational transformation programmes with large retail and consumer goods organisations.
About the opportunity
This is a senior, commercially focused role sitting between enterprise strategy, operational transformation and AI deployment. You will work directly with executive stakeholders to identify high-value opportunities, build credible business cases and turn initial AI deployments into measurable, organisation-wide outcomes.
The role is suited to someone with a background in management consulting, enterprise transformation or deployment strategy who understands the operational realities of retail, consumer packaged goods (CPG) or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG).
The role
You will own customer transformation programmes from initial business case through implementation and expansion. Working closely with technical deployment teams, you will translate operational challenges into structured transformation roadmaps and ensure technology-led process improvements deliver demonstrable commercial value.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
