Transition and Progression Coordinator
Full Time, 37 hours per week
Fixed term until September 2028
Salary: £26,740 - £27,774
Town Centre Campus, Burton on Trent
Who are we looking for?
We have an exciting opportunity to become a Transition and Progression Coordinator and join a fun and collaborative team who make a real difference to learner success and progression.
You will lead the planning, coordination and delivery of transition support for new and progressing learners, ensuring a positive learner journey from application through to successful completion.
Working closely with schools, curriculum teams, Additional Learning Support, parents/carers and external agencies, you will help learners engage, achieve and progress successfully.
What will you do?
- Plan and deliver transition, induction and bridging activities
- Coordinate targeted summer transition programmes
- Liaise with schools, PRUs and partner organisations
- Attend reviews and progression planning meetings
- Identify learners at risk and implement interventions
- Monitor attendance, retention and progress
- Provide guidance to learners and parents/carers
- Work with safeguarding, wellbeing and curriculum teams
What are we looking for?
- Experience in education, youth support or FE
- Understanding of post-16 transition and learner support
- Experience supporting SEND learners
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organisational and IT skills
- Ability to analyse data and target support effectively
