Role Description
The Translation Project Manager is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing translation projects from initial request to final delivery. This role includes coordinating translators and proofreaders, managing timelines and workloads, and ensuring that all projects align with client requirements and quality standards. The Translation Project Manager will serve as a primary point of contact for clients, handle project scoping, provide status updates, and manage feedback and revisions. Day-to-day tasks involve organizing resources, monitoring project progress, performing quality checks on deliverables, and optimizing processes for efficiency. The role also includes maintaining accurate project documentation, supporting continuous improvement of workflows, and contributing to client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

- Candidates should possess strong Project Management skills, including planning, prioritization, and coordination of multiple translation projects.
- Candidates should possess solid Translation skills and familiarity with multilingual workflows, preferably involving English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for clear interaction with clients, translators, and internal stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills, with a focus on responsiveness, professionalism, and relationship building.
- Candidates should possess Quality Assurance skills, including attention to detail, consistency checks, and adherence to style and terminology guidelines.
- Candidates should have experience with translation management or CAT tools and basic knowledge of localization practices.
- Candidates should have strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to work independently in a remote environment.
- A bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Languages, Communication, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is beneficial.
- Professional proficiency in at least two of the following languages—English, Spanish, Portuguese—is highly advantageous.
