Position: English Voice Coach
Type: Full-Time Contract

About the Opportunity
This opportunity is for English speakers from Ireland, Australia, and the United Kingdom with strong expertise in pronunciation, accents, fluency, natural speech patterns, and audio evaluation to contribute to an advanced AI training project.
You'll evaluate English audio recordings, assess whether speech sounds natural and regionally authentic, and provide structured feedback that helps improve AI speech and language capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Listen to and evaluate English audio recordings for quality and authenticity.
- Assess pronunciation, accent, fluency, tone, and natural speech patterns.
- Determine whether speech sounds natural and appropriate for the speaker's target English region or accent.
- Identify inconsistencies, unnatural phrasing, pronunciation issues, or other speech irregularities.
- Provide clear, structured, and actionable written feedback on audio recordings.
- Apply project guidelines consistently when evaluating speech.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Support AI training initiatives by providing insights into natural English speech and regional language variation.
- Work independently while meeting project quality and delivery expectations.

Required Qualifications
- English proficiency with strong knowledge of a regional English accent from Ireland, Australia, or the United Kingdom.
- Strong understanding of English pronunciation and natural speech patterns.
- Excellent listening and analytical skills.
- Strong ability to identify subtle differences in accent, fluency, tone, and pronunciation.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in voice coaching, voice-over, or speech analysis.
- Background in linguistics, phonetics, language teaching, communications, or media.
- Experience with audio engineering, music, or sound production.
- Previous experience evaluating or analyzing speech and audio recordings.
- Familiarity with AI training, language evaluation, or speech technology.
- Ability to provide nuanced feedback on regional accents and natural speech characteristics.
Compensation
- Competitive compensation of $40–$65/hour.
