Transmission Delivery Specialist
Location: UK (Hybrid, some travel to Berkshire office)
Contract: 3 months, extendable long-term
Start: Immediate
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Transmission Delivery Specialist to support large-scale transmission upgrade programmes across the Vodafone UK network. This role sits within Network Deployment (ND&I) and is responsible for coordinating and delivering transmission changes across mobile network sites, ensuring activities land safely, on time and within budget. You will work within a complex matrix environment, managing cross-functional teams, suppliers and stakeholders to deliver strategic and tactical transmission outcomes that support network performance, resilience and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver transmission network upgrades across mobile sites, ensuring all activities meet programme targets for time, cost and quality.
- Coordinate multi-supplier delivery teams, managing dependencies across design, build, power, transmission, integration and operations.
- Manage change into the live network environment, ensuring safe delivery, controlled implementation and minimal service impact.
- Act as a key point of contact for senior stakeholders, providing clear reporting, progress updates, RAID management and delivery assurance.
- Drive operational excellence across processes, governance, documentation and supplier performance.
- Support planning activities, programme readiness reviews, gating, and cross-functional alignment.
- Ensure compliance with Vodafone/Three technical standards, processes and operational requirements.

Required Experience
- Proven track record delivering transmission projects (microwave, fibre, Ethernet/IP, backhaul) within UK mobile networks.
- Experience managing large-scale or complex delivery programmes across multi-supplier environments.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, challenge and drive outcomes.
- Solid understanding of mobile network technologies, transmission integration and live network change processes.
- Degree-level education in a relevant field (or equivalent experience).
- PMO/project delivery experience within telecoms.
