Location: Home Bargains Distribution Centre, Amesbury
Abacus Employment are proud to be working in partnership with Home Bargains to recruit a Transport Administrator for their busy Distribution Centre in Amesbury.

About The Role
As a Transport Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the transport operation. You'll be responsible for dispatching drivers with the correct paperwork, accurately updating transport systems, and supporting the transport team to ensure deliveries leave on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispatch drivers with the correct delivery documentation.
- Accurately input transport and driver information into the transport management system.
- Prepare and issue delivery paperwork.
- Liaise with drivers and the transport team to ensure timely departures.
- Monitor vehicle departures and escalate any delays or issues.
- Maintain accurate transport records and filing systems.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse and transport colleagues.
- Complete all administrative tasks accurately and within required deadlines.

What We're Looking For
- Previous administration experience, ideally within transport, logistics, or warehousing.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry systems.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with a positive, team-focused attitude.
- Flexibility to work permanent night shifts on a 4-on, 4-off rota.
