About The Role

Based in Longwell Green, this Transport Administrator position offers a permanent, full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with an annual salary of £28,750. The role involves supporting the Transport Manager to ensure all operations meet legal standards. Duties include maintaining precise records for drivers and vehicles, reviewing tachograph data, and scheduling essential maintenance and MOTs. You will also manage training documentation and produce compliance reports. This role suits a proactive organiser with strong attention to detail. Prior knowledge of transport compliance is beneficial, though administrative proficiency is equally valued. Working alongside the transport team, you will provide crucial clerical support to keep daily activities running efficiently and within regulatory requirements.

Transport Compliance Administrator

Location: Longwell Green

Hours: Full-Time, Permanent (Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm)

Salary: £28,750 per annum

About the Role

We're looking for an organised and proactive Transport Compliance Administrator to support our Transport Manager and help keep our transport operations compliant and running smoothly.

You'll maintain accurate records, monitor key compliance activities, and provide essential administrative support to the transport team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain driver and vehicle compliance records.
  • Monitor tachograph reports and driver checks.
  • Keep training, licence, and vehicle records up to date.
  • Support vehicle maintenance, MOT scheduling, and compliance documentation.
  • Produce reports and ensure transport paperwork is accurate and complete.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Transport Manager.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and work as part of a team.
  • Transport or logistics experience is an advantage but not essential—full training will be provided.
