We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Transport & Import Customs Administrator to join our Logistics team in Portadown. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with customs administration experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to develop their career within a global manufacturing business.

About The Role

Working at the Gilford Road site and reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for completing import customs entries for goods moving from Great Britain to Northern Ireland while also supporting the transport team with a range of administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities

Customs Administration

  • Complete import customs entries for goods moving from GB to NI using the TSS portal.
  • Liaise with suppliers to obtain customs invoices and verify commercial invoice accuracy.
  • Work closely with Kingspan GB sites regarding intercompany transfers and associated customs documentation.
  • Assist with export declarations and ensure all documentation is compliant and accurate.
  • Liaise with Kingspan's customs broker to ensure compliance with HMRC requirements.

Transport Administration

  • Arrange collections from suppliers for EXW shipments.
  • Raise purchase orders using Kingspan's ERP system (Infor LN).
  • Manage shipments through freight agent portals including DPD and DHL.
  • Support E-Commerce and Parts Business shipments from GB suppliers to EU and Rest of World customers.
  • Provide administrative support and holiday cover across the Transport department.

Essential

What We're Looking For

  • Knowledge of import customs entries.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Desirable

  • Experience using TSS and/or CDS.
  • Good IT and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Previous experience within logistics, customs, freight, or supply chain administration.
