Company Description
Our client is based near Woking and have been growing in size steadily for the last few years. Specialising in Events and Facilities Management they work all over the country and their drivers are specifically qualified in large asset movements, working to a tight schedule and strong deadlines. The offices and yard are based in a rural setting in Surrey and with the help of the right individual they are ready to grow further.
Role Description
The Office Administrator and Diary Keeper role is an office based position based the offices near Woking, our client is looking for an administrative manager who can work under pressure, and manage the diaries of both the Directors as well as oversee the projects of the drivers on a daily basis.
The hours are initially 5 hours per day from Monday to Friday (25 hours per week).

The role involves managing the office environment, handling incoming calls and emails, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Key duties include:

- Maintaining and organizing the diary and schedule for team members
- Booking and confirming client deliveries
- Coordinating meetings and deadlines
- Basic office equipment upkeep
- Updating client records
- Preparing simple documents
- Supporting customer service by responding promptly and professionally to client queries
As the offices are in a rural location, a full driving licence and access to transport is essential, although after the initial training and acclimation, there is scope for some hybrid work.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Administrative Assistance and Office Administration skills, with the ability to manage schedules, records, and general office workflows.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with Office Equipment and basic troubleshooting skills to maintain a functional, well-organized workspace.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills, including clear written and verbal communication and a professional, client-focused manner.
- Candidates should possess good organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
- Comfort with standard office software (e.g., email, calendars, word processing, spreadsheets) and willingness to learn new systems is beneficial.
- Previous experience in an administrative or office-based role is advantageous; experience in an accountancy or professional services environment is a plus but not required.
