As a Compliance Administrator, you will keep our transport operations safe, smooth, and fully compliant with legal and regulatory standards. You will play a vital role in supporting our drivers and transport staff, making sure everyone stays up-to-date with essential training and certifications. Working closely with our operational teams and supporting the Training & Compliance Manager, you’ll turn raw data into actionable insights and handle key training logistics. From day one, NEXT will support you with the tools, guidance, and training needed to help you settle into the team and succeed in your role.

What you'll take on

  • Administrate the Thrive Learning Management System (LMS), managing course uploads, scheduling training, and tracking mandatory completion rates like Driver CPC.
  • Extract and analyse data from tachographs and defect logs to build clear weekly operational compliance dashboards for management.
  • Monitor key transport KPIs—such as MOT pass rates and driver infringements—to support our monthly DVSA Earned Recognition submissions.
  • Keep precise, audit-ready records to ensure we continuously meet Traffic Commissioner and DVSA standards.
  • Provide direct administrative and diary support to the Training & Compliance Manager, coordinating external course bookings and delegates.
  • Handle general financial administration, including raising and reconciling transport purchase orders and processing company credit cards.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
