About the Role

We are hiring for a Transport Coordinator who will be working with an established and growing business operating across the events, TV and film sectors, providing temporary accommodation, welfare facilities and modular solutions for major events and productions across the UK.

This is a key role within the depot, responsible for coordinating the movement of equipment and units to and from customer sites, ensuring deliveries and collections are planned efficiently, cost-effectively and to the required service standards.

You will work closely with customers, project managers, the depot and operations teams, transport providers and subcontractors to ensure every deployment runs smoothly from initial planning through to final collection.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the delivery and collection of equipment, units and welfare facilities across the UK.
  • Plan transport requirements around customer schedules, event dates and project deadlines.
  • Liaise with hauliers, drivers, subcontractors and transport providers to arrange suitable vehicles and movements.
  • Coordinate delivery and collection schedules with the depot and project teams.
  • Ensure transport bookings are accurate, cost-effective and completed within agreed timescales.
  • Maintain clear and accurate transport schedules and documentation.
  • Monitor deliveries and collections, resolving any issues or delays quickly.
  • Communicate with customers and internal teams regarding delivery requirements and changes.
  • Ensure drivers and subcontractors have the correct information and site requirements.
  • Help maximise vehicle and fleet utilisation while keeping transport costs under control.
  • Support the wider depot and operations team with day-to-day planning and coordination.
  • Assist with resolving logistical issues and last-minute changes in a fast-moving environment.
  • Ensure all transport activities are carried out safely and in line with company procedures and relevant legislation.
  • Build strong working relationships with suppliers, hauliers and subcontractors.
  • Support continuous improvement of transport and logistics processes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
