The Role
Seabridge have a vacancy for a Transport Co-ordinator based at our Belfast branch. Reporting to the General Manager.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Preparation of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
- Proof of Delivery scanning.
- Preparation of Export Documentation and final manifests-including Dangerous Goods Notifications (DGNs) for onforwarding to shipping lines.
- Plan, direct and control all UK import activities on a day-to-day basis, including booking onto the Azyra freight system, obtaining all paperwork to meet customs requirements and ensure customers transit times are met.
- Maintain all files ensuring they are costed and invoiced prior to export, delivery or release.
- Provide 3rd Party transport companies with the relevant information to ensure customer collection / delivery requirements are met.
- Develop constructive relationships with key customers, understanding the clients’ business and meeting their shipping needs.
- Identify and provide early warning to the manager on any issues and problems that could have an adverse effect on deadlines.
- Promote and maintain image, procedures and standards as set and with management.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of logistics documentation.
- Maintain and update internal systems to support the movement of goods.
- Action other ad hoc duties as requested by manager.

Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 12 months experience in groupage shipping transport environment is preferable.
- Experience in the completion of Dangerous Goods Documentation and experience of dealing with Hazardous Consignments would be of benefit but not essential.
- Good knowledge and experience of exports and customs procedures would be beneficial but not essential.
- Able to work toward and meet deadlines.
- Computer literate.
- Possess team player qualities.
- Ability to plan.
- A proactive attitude.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- A full clean driving license and own transport is required.
