Anand International Ltd is a successful family-owned business with over 45 years of trading history. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an organised and proactive Transport & Customer Service Co-ordinator to join our friendly team.
This is a varied and rewarding role supporting customer deliveries, transport administration and day-to-day customer service activities, playing an important part in ensuring excellent service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and track customer deliveries using carrier and customer portals.
- Investigate and resolve delayed, damaged, short or split deliveries.
- Communicate delivery updates to customers.
- Raise claims with carriers and hauliers where necessary.
- Check transport and supplier invoices as well as Proofs of Delivery (PODs).
- Liaise with customers, transport providers and the warehouse team.
- Support the sales, transport and management teams with administrative tasks.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and welcome visitors.

Skills & Experience
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- A professional and confident telephone manner.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.
- A positive, reliable and team-focused attitude.
- Experience within logistics, distribution, manufacturing, wholesale or supply chain environments would be beneficial but is not essential.
