The Role
We are looking for experienced and reliable Transport Drivers to join our Transport & Logistics team.
You will be responsible for the safe and efficient collection, transportation, delivery and appraisal of vehicles at locations across the UK, with a particular focus on end-user and home deliveries.
Depending on the operation, you will work with a range of transport vehicles, including:
- 7.2-ton vehicles
- 2-car twin-deck sleeper cab car transporters
- 3.5-ton single-car trailers
- Pick-up and trailer combinations
- 3.5-ton single-car carriers

The role involves regular interaction with customers, dealerships and other business partners, so excellent customer service and a professional approach are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely collect and deliver new and used vehicles across the UK
- Carry out accurate vehicle appraisals and inspections before loading
- Obtain customer signatures and provide a professional customer experience
- Use a company-provided mobile device to complete electronic vehicle inspections and photographs
- Accurately maintain records of vehicle inspections, appraisals and customer interactions
- Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues and the wider DMN team
- Follow all legal, regulatory and company requirements
- Complete vehicle and equipment safety checks and report any issues promptly
- Follow company health and safety procedures and report incidents where required
- Always represent DMN professionally
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanour
- Be punctual, reliable, self-motivated and willing to go the extra mile
What We're Looking For
The successful candidate will have:
- A valid C1E licence without the 107 restriction, or an appropriate LGV/HGV licence allowing a trailer over 850kg to be towed
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card
- A current Driver CPC qualification
- Previous experience driving commercial vehicles
- Good knowledge of vehicle safety checks and transport regulations
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Good attention to detail
- The ability to follow company processes and procedures
- A reliable, professional and positive approach to work
- A full understanding of the importance of vehicle care and safe transportation

Previous experience within vehicle transport, logistics, vehicle movements or a similar environment would be advantageous.
Location
We have opportunities covering:
- Birmingham and surrounding areas, trucks based at Smethwick
- Leighton Buzzard and surrounding areas, trucks based at Wing
The role involves travelling to various locations across the UK, so flexibility and a willingness to travel are essential.
