Pay Rate: £33,475
Grade: O
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday to Friday, occasional weekends around the Christmas period. Rotational shift, 2 weeks of earlies, 6am to 2pm & 2pm to 10pm. 2 Weeks of lates.

We're now looking for a Transport First Line Manager!
In this pivotal role, you will lead our dynamic team to achieve excellence and drive success throughout our transport network. Join us and be a key player in shaping the future of logistics!
What You'll Do
- Manage driver performance, engagement and wellbeing through regular communication, coaching and structured one-to-one meetings.
- Ensure all drivers have the appropriate training, tools and support to perform their roles successfully.
- Monitor vehicle compliance, ensuring defects are reported and resolved promptly.
- Drive a strong safety culture by maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and compliance.
- Develop, motivate and inspire your team to achieve operational and customer excellence.
- Analyse operational performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Work closely with colleagues and utilise Waitrose WMS and transport systems to support operational success.

What You'll Bring
- Previous Team Lead / FLM Experience in Transport.
- IT Literate, with Microsoft Office Packages.
- Experience with Microlise, Tachomaster.
