We collaborate closely with dealerships and transport providers across the UK to deliver a 5-star experience. Our work is vital to Motorway's success, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving business growth. About the role
We're looking for a highly motivated and customer-centric Transport and Logistics Executive to join our team in Brighton. You'll be pivotal in ensuring smooth vehicle collections and deliveries, resolving issues, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

In this role, you will:
- Be the first point of contact for collection or delivery issues, proactively finding solutions to ensure a hassle-free transport service.
- Escalate recurring issues to your line manager and the wider Transport Operations team, monitoring progress to ensure service level improvements.
- Contribute to defined project work, collaborating towards team goals and improving processes.
- Process new transport requests, ensuring timely bookings for all collections and deliveries.
- Liaise with our transport partners, ensuring prompt and efficient communication.
- Oversee the end-to-end Motorway-owned transport claims process, maintaining an unbiased and analytical approach.
- Review and approve invoices, identifying and querying any anomalies with our transport providers.
- Handle customer complaints effectively, demonstrating strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset.
About you
- You have excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and a professional telephone manner.
- You have a strong attention to detail and are highly organised, with a proven track record of prioritising tasks.
- You're a proactive problem-solver who can think outside the box to streamline processes and embrace change.
- You're comfortable handling escalated issues independently and implementing preventative measures.
- You have strong administrative skills and experience using Google Sheets.
- Experience using Zendesk is advantageous but not essential.
- Experience within a logistics, customer service, or administrative role is desirable.

Our interview process
- Intro Call with a Talent Partner - 30 minutes
- Hiring Manager Interview and skills assessment - 60 minutes

Job details
- Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 9am - 5:30pm with flexibility to work 8am - 4:30pm when required
- Salary: £26,000
